Tea is a plant,Camellia Sinensis. The leaves and “bud” of the tea bush are hand “plucked” from tea gardens around the world. Black tea, Green tea and White teas are all derived from the same Camellia Sinensis plant. Black teas are fully oxidized and are typically full bodied. Green and white teas are also dried but do not undergo an oxidation process. The shorter processing gives both green and white teas a lighter flavour and retrains more of the beneficial nutrients and antioxidants.

The different variations of tea such as black, green and white tea are determined by the method of processing the tea leaf into its final beverage form. “Tea” is also made by the infusion of dried herbs & spices, the vast majority being caffeine free.
